Tax Accountant w/ 501(c)3 experience
We currently outsource this to an accounting firm but hoping there is a WJ parent with this expertise who could help us file our returns, working directly with the Treasurer.
This position wears many hats, but historically, has leaned toward being our marketing coordinator. There are lots of parts and pieces of marketing and it's great to have someone that has an eye for details and can coordinate our messages to the students, parents and the local community. There is lots of potential here...just need some creative juices to generate ideas of what we could do better!
Our website was rebuilt this summer, and is simple to manage. We need someone who is comfortable making edits, has a creative eye for new ways to display information, and can stay on top of updates to ensure the website is accurate/current!
If you have experience with Constant Contact (or similar tool), we'd love to utilize your skills to start a monthly newsletter!
Continue to build our online presence, primarily on Instagram, complementing the WJ school store IG account, and coordinating with WJ clubs and teams to generate followers. Knowledge of Instagram and Canva (or other graphics programs) is needed.
Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator
Create a sponsorship package for local businesses & organizations, including stadium banners, website visibility, tshirt sponsorships and any other creative ideas you can come up with! Work with the person who manages the printing and hanging of the banners to ensure graphics are in the correct formats and renewal dates are tracked.
Wildcat Sponsorship Coordinator
This new initiative has had early success with 26 wildcat sponsors already. Working with our graphic designer and print coordinator, we need someone to head it up and help us fill all of the tennis court fences with family banners!
This position is ideal for someone who has time in August and September (fairly quiet the rest of the year), is comfortable talking to people/answering questions at school events, and can utilize a spreadsheet to track club/team rosters for membership participation rates. Learn from the current chair before she "graduates"!
9th, 10th and 11th grade Liaisons
Be the Booster Club liaison for your child's class, answering questions, providing information about upcoming Booster activities and helping to grow our membership.
