Tax Accountant w/ 501(c)3 experience

We currently outsource this to an accounting firm but hoping there is a WJ parent with this expertise who could help us file our returns, working directly with the Treasurer.

Treasurer Trainee

Our current Treasurer is graduating, so it's a great time to learn the ropes before she is gone!  The Treasurer manages all financial transactions for the organization, including cutting checks, filing taxes and providing income statements throughout the year to committee chairs.  This position is a year-round position, and requires attention to detail.  Knowledge of QuickBooks is beneficial.

Social Media

Continue to build our online presence, primarily on Instagram, complementing the WJ school store IG account, and coordinating with WJ clubs and teams to generate followers.  Knowledge of Instagram and Canva (or other graphics programs) is needed.  

Website Administrator

This position requires knowledge of web platforms, internet security procedures, Google workspace functionality as well as GoDaddy features.  General day-to-day updates will be managed by the webmaster, but will be closely coordinated with the website administrator.

in Training

Both of our fundraisers are headed by Junior parents who have lead the teams for several years and will be stepping down after this year.  It's a great opportunity to learn from the current chairs and be able to lean on their historical knowledge when you become Chair in 2025-26.  Both fundraisers take place in March with January & February as the planning months (very little happens the rest of the year) and are ideally set up to be run by Co-Chairs with large committees to support the myriad of tasks needed.  Find a friend and work together to make a huge impact at WJ! 

9th, 10th and 11th grade Liaisons

Be the Booster Club liaison for your child's class, answering questions, providing information about upcoming Booster activities and helping to grow our membership.
