Submit a Funding Request

Prior to Submitting Request

Coaches must meet with the Athletic Director and club sponsors must meet with the Assistant Principal/Booster Club liaison.

Funding requests are due one week prior to the next Booster meeting, which are the second Wednesday of every month. When you click "submit," the request will be sent to the Athletic Director, Assistant Principal/Booster Liaison and the Booster Club President & Treasurer.

Please plan to have 2-3 representatives from your club/team make a presentation at the Booster Club meeting when your request is scheduled to be considered. This presentation should include:
 

  1. General information about the club/team
  2. Officers/captains
  3. Funding request (how much and what it is for),
  4. Other fundraising you are doing, and
  5. How your club/team supports the Booster Club, including:
          - # current members and/or % of roster that are members
          - concession stand sign-ups
          - # students/parents volunteering for Used Book Sale and Spring                 Mulch Sale


Requests are voted on by all Booster Club members in good standing in attendance at the meeting. The club sponsor/coach will be notified after the meeting about the results.

Requests may be approved or deferred, or may be funded in part.

Expectations

  1. Groups are expected to actively participate in all of our fundraising efforts including running indoor & outdoor concessions (at least one during the year) and volunteering for the Used Book Sale and Spring Mulch Sale (minimum participation of 30%).
  2. Rosters of clubs and teams, indicating  membership status, should be emailed to membership@wjboosterclub.org at least one week before the presentation so that membership levels can be verified.
  3. All clubs & teams are expected to raise matching funds (to be discussed in advance with Athletic Director and Assistant Principal).


If there are questions or concerns, please see the Athletic Director or Assistant Principal for further guidance.

Ineligible Requests

Funding requests that CANNOT be supported by the Booster Club include:
 

  1. Meals & transportation
  2. Equipment & uniforms that will not remain with the school
  3. Awards & trophies
  4. Coaches' stipends and trainings
