PRODUCT INFO
3 cu. ft. bags of dark brown, hardwood, shredded mulch
**These bags are larger than those you typically find at your local garden center or home improvement store (generally 2 cu. ft.)**
PRICE INFO
$8 per bag
DELIVERY DETAILS
**10+ bags will be delivered FREE within the WJ district**
- Orders of 1-9 bags will NOT BE DELIVERED. These must be picked up at WJ on March 22 in your own vehicle.
- $40 charge for deliveries OUTSIDE WJ district apply.
- March 21-22 by WJ students
- NO backyard deliveries
ADDITIONAL SPREADING SERVICES
- Support the WJ Football Team and have all of your mulch spread for an additional $5/bag!! Spreading will take place on a different day than the mulch delivery.
- **If you would like spreading services, please choose "MULCH + SPREADING" for EVERY bag you purchase.**
Parent and Student Volunteers Needed -- Mar. 21-22, 2025
Each year 500+ students and 150+ parents deliver +/- 9,000 bags of mulch to 450+ customers...it's an impressive feat that involves every club and team at WJ (and their parents)!
- On March 21-22, we will deliver 750 BAGS PER HOUR (~9,000 bags) to 450 customers!
- The kids do all of the lifting and carrying
- Adults drive the UHaul trucks and cars full of WJ students to "chase" the trucks for delivery.
- Due to liability, students are not permitted to drive
- ONLY ADULTS CAN DRIVE.
Please check the signup geniuses below to find a 3 hour time slot that works for your schedule...every minute is appreciated! It's a SUPER FUN (albeit a little bit stinky!) operation!

2024 Highlights
Thank you to EVERYONE who made the 2024 mulch sale a success!
- We delivered 8,370 bags of mulch to 450 customers over two days.
- We used 11 UHaul trucks and an untold number of personal pickup trucks, SUVs, minivans and cars with a team of:
- 100+ parents and
- 500+ students representing
- 20+ sports teams and
- 100+ clubs and student organizations consuming
1000s of calories of pizzas, bagels and donuts with - 0 complaints and
110% EFFORT BY EVERY PERSON THERE!! - And thanks to the WJ football team who spread the mulch in dozens of yards.
